September 17, 2016 Last Letter from the MTC

What up family! How is everything going? I just wanted to share a quick story about Hanna. Hanna is mine and Steel's investigator and we have been teaching her for about 3 days. We have been teaching her about the Plan of Salvation and she hasn't been retaining what we have been teaching her. So the other day we just thought that we should teach from our hearts and keep it simple. So what is the simplest thing in the Gospel? Prayer! So we taught her why prayer was important and how it is a way that we can talk to God and how he can give us our answers through prayer. Then we talked more and more about it and then that led us to talking about the Atonement. We talked about how we can be forgiven of our sins through prayer and showing God a change not only in our hearts but we also need to change the way we live. And to make a long story short we ended up asking her to baptism and she said YES after the simplest lesson we ever taught!
I just want you guys to know how much I love you! Just follow your heart because crazy things can happen when you do.
